An upcoming online help session for medical students and post-bacc/Master's students will focus on the importance of healthy sleep habits for academic performance, cognitive function, and overall well-being. The session will explore how adequate, consistent sleep supports memory consolidation, learning efficiency, emotional regulation, and physical health. It will also address the negative effects of chronic sleep deprivation, such as reduced concentration, impaired clinical decision-making, and increased stress. Participants will gain practical strategies for improving sleep quality, including maintaining a regular sleep schedule, creating a restful environment, limiting caffeine and screen time before bed, and prioritizing rest throughout a demanding curriculum.
